MEET THE TEAM

Prevention is rarely a solo effort.
It shouldn't be.

Behind every DJC Solutions engagement is a bench of specialists who've walked this work themselves — trainers, facilitators, coaches, and strategists who show up alongside you, not just for you.

FOUNDER

Dave Closson

Founder, DJC Solutions · Combat Veteran · Prevention Specialist

Dave founded DJC Solutions because he's lived every side of this work — not just studied it. A U.S. Army Infantry Sniper Team Leader turned prevention specialist, he speaks about recovery from his own story, not a textbook.

He was the founding director of the Mid-America Prevention Technology Transfer Center (Mid-America PTTC), where he helped build the training and workforce infrastructure prevention professionals across the region still rely on.

As an international speaker, Dave has represented the U.S. prevention field at ISSUP in Thessaloniki and the United Nations Commission on Narcotic Drugs (UN CND) in Vienna — and DJC Solutions is a certified SDVOSB (Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business), a federal designation that lets agencies contract with veteran-owned firms directly.

SBA-CERTIFIED SDVOSB · COMBAT VETERAN-OWNED

WHY THIS MATTERS

You're not hiring one consultant stretched thin.

You're getting a team that's built coalitions, delivered trainings, and produced content for this exact work — together. When the scope shifts mid-grant, we bring in the right person from the bench. When a deliverable needs three specialties, three specialists show up.

Coalition-tested

Every partner has been in the room when a coalition was under pressure — not just consulting from the outside.

Field-fluent

We speak the language of prevention, behavioral health, and recovery because we've done the work — no translation tax.

Built to last

A veteran-owned firm with a bench that's grown by trust, not headcount targets. Resilient by design.

Ready to build something that lasts beyond a single grant cycle?

Let's talk about your coalition's needs — and which of these folks should be in the room with you.
